Mach 研究 Fellowships
Mach fellowships, endowed by alumnus Steven Mach (澳门金沙线上赌博官网
1992), provide funding to rising seniors in STEM fields for use
in research or scholarly activity during their senior year. 一个
Mach Fellow nomination is permitted per department, from which
a University-wide committee makes final selections.

HEP 夏天的研究 Fellowships
的 霍德兰Eggen, & 皮特奖学金 was established in 2011 by alumni and faculty of the department to honor retired faculty John Howland, Ph.D.; Maurice Eggen, Ph.D.; and Gerald Pitts, Ph.D.  All three served the department ably for many years, and indeed Howland started the department (in 1970). 的 fund supports undergraduate student research.

Senior Capstone Project
Students majoring in Computer Science complete a year-long project in their senior year of study.  Many students complete their capstone through a year-long Senior Software Project for external clients, while others choose to complete a Senior 的sis instead.

Every year, the Computer Science Department makes a number of awards to students.

Babbage-Lovelace Award
的 Charles Babbage – Ada Lovelace Computing Award, named after the nineteenth-century researchers who developed the Difference and Analytic Engines and are hence the pioneers of the modern era of computing. is presented to a senior or seniors in recognition of superior achievement in academic and community computer-related activities;

Outstanding Senior and Junior 研究 Awards
